Marca is a sign system that I developed in 2004. I created it out of my frustration at the poorly designed off-the-shelf signs that were available at that time. Off-the-shelf signs are a key element in so many environments, and I believe that these small yet extremely important fixtures should be as thoughtfully designed and crafted as the spaces in which they are displayed.

Brilliant and unmistakable pictograms, contemporary and timeless design and a visual language reduced to the essentials are characteristic of each design line. This simple philosophy remains at the core of the system to this day.
