One Angel Square

One Angel Square responds to an ambitious brief to combine workforces from 12 separate properties in a single BREEAM excellent headquarters building for Northamptonshire County Council.

We developed the identity for One Angel Square and carried it through to the wayfinding and signage. The logotype at the main entrance announces a bold, new presence on St John’s Street. Inside we created graphics that zone each level using compass points. Each point is displayed on columns, making an impact from the lobby and offering interesting detail when seen in close proximity.

The building directory consists of a bespoke metal panel system which adds to the palette of materials in the lobby interior. The toilets feature large-scale pictograms and arrows.
