Sir George Grenfell-Baines was an English architect and town planner who founded the Preston-based architecture, design, and engineering practice, BDP. 1991 marked the firm’s 30th year, and to celebrate this significant milestone, a publication titled ‘The Pioneering Architect’ was published. The book’s content is structured around a series of chapters focusing on GG’s significant achievements and features essays by key staff and collaborators.
