Hale Village

Hale Village is a key component of the Tottenham Hale Urban Centre Masterplan. This multi-award-winning development emphasises sustainability and community engagement.

A central part of the wayfinding strategy involves bringing the site's history to life. Four-sided totems are strategically placed throughout the village to highlight significant events and figures, such as Harris Lebus. These totems provide a narrative of the factory's history during the First and Second World Wars, while also offering directional information and orientation cues.

The totems are made from steel and feature durable vitreous enamel panels, ensuring longevity and low maintenance.
